Ohhhh, she's adorable! That little face is almost, almost able to let me say yes to my daughter's request for a puppy! What kind of dog is she? It would be hard for me to suggest a name without seeing her in person :-)
She is a newfoundland. A lot of them are solid black but her colors are known as "landseer". They have water-resistant coats and she should weigh about 120-140 pounds when she is full grown. At the moment, though, she fits perfectly in your arms.
I remember many years ago working as a veterinary assistant and walking a beautiful white newfoundland outside in the morning. She suddenly slipped the leash and went running through the woods...in the snow...oh my goodness! I can laugh about it now, but back then :::shaking my head:::
My sister-in-law got a new puppy!
she needs a name, though. Do you have any suggestions?
