We were so young. And thin. And clueless. Twenty-one years later, well, we aren't as young or as thin but I suspect we are still somewhat clueless sometimes. I think Alan Jackson says it best:
Remember when we vowed the vows
and walked the walk
Gave our hearts, made the start, it was hard
We lived and learned, life threw curves
There was joy, there was hurt
Remember when
Remember when the sound of little feetwas the music
We danced to week to week
Brought back the love, we found trust
Vowed we'd never give it up
Remember when
Remember when thirty seemed so old
Now lookn' back it's just a steppin' stone
To where we are,
Where we've been
Said we'd do it all againRemember when
Remember when we said when we turned gray
When the children grow up and move away
We won't be sad, we'll be glad
For all the life we've had
And we'll remember when
Remember when we vowed the vows
and walked the walk
Gave our hearts, made the start, it was hard
We lived and learned, life threw curves
There was joy, there was hurt
Remember when
Remember when the sound of little feetwas the music
We danced to week to week
Brought back the love, we found trust
Vowed we'd never give it up
Remember when
Remember when thirty seemed so old
Now lookn' back it's just a steppin' stone
To where we are,
Where we've been
Said we'd do it all againRemember when
Remember when we said when we turned gray
When the children grow up and move away
We won't be sad, we'll be glad
For all the life we've had
And we'll remember when
Happy Anniversary Joshua! I love you...

Happy Anniversary!
Hey, when did you change the name of your blog? I like it! (although, I liked the other one too as Muppets Treasure Island is one of my favorite movies)
Getting married on Valentine's Day is so romantic. I had an August wedding and my gosh, my face shined with the oil of a nervous bride in every picture. Y'all are so cute. Happy Anniversary and Valentines!
Does it make you think about J's upcoming wedding? It would have to--stupid question. Every wedding I went to for a year before I got married, I pictured myself standing there, and thought about the commitment and the, well, terror. Still standing 27 years later though. Congratulations on 21!
