Whenever our dog is given messy food he has to run out of the kitchen (tiled) to the living room (carpeted) to eat it. I don't know why. We have a permanent stain in the carpet because of him.
Hi, Karen! Your dog (and the mess) cracks me up! Kind of like when the mess of the kids is annoying, but when they leave you miss them like crazy! Or when they have bad behavior during the day and we get so mad until we see them sleeping and they look so innocent! Cherish those messes... yeah right! You've been in my thoughts and prayers!

If our dog Midnight had messy food she would run from the kitchen to our bedroom and jump on the bed with it.
If our dog Penny (the one who had the squirrel a few weeks ago) had the messy food, she would jump right on the couch and place the food on the couch so she could knock all the pillows on floor before she ate it.
