I think
my idea and
God's idea of
organizing my life and having a mini-sabbatical were completely and totally different. I'll be pondering what I've learned over the past few days and sharing more later. I just wanted to say that we (as a city) are still striving towards whatever normal is and that we (as a family) have power for the moment. (and we are happy about this!)

Ah, truly, normal is ONLY a setting on your dryer...sorry, I couldn't resist. Although I do have to say that on my old dryer even normal isn't normal LOL!
Hope life gets back to *normal* soon for you!

I hope you are enjoying your life without all the encumbrances. We have been so blessed in that, though we still have no power, phone, internet, cable, we have rediscovered real conversation, no cell phone interruptions, neighborly generosity and much more. It almost never works out the way we PLAN but God can have a way of getting our attention I'd say. It is still cool here in Houston which is unheard of in September. We are most blessed. Blessings and prayers--Love, Annette
I'm so glad you have power again!
Blessings
Michelle
