will we survive...

this school year? Someone just told me (thirteen minutes before time to leave for school) that he has no clean school pants. Except the pair that do not fit. And he doesn't see why I am aggravated at him because this couldn't possibly be his fault. So now we are all unhappy and tense and I have a pile of wet clothes in a basket, trying to dry one pair of pants in thirteen minutes. Argh. (Did I mention that I did like 47 loads of laundry yesterday? And since the child has 6 pairs of school pants and there are only 5 days in the week and today is the 5th day, there should be 2 pair still in the closet!)

You are at the exact place I was when my kids had to start doing their own laundry, except mine happened in the summer of 400 towels on the floor and several outfits I'd just washed, still folded, in the dirty basket.
What a way to start your day. Sounds like you need some pecan praline ice cream...I'm having cookies and coffee. Time for reform, for me. After I catch up with Cover to Cover, I'm getting on the eliptical. Love, Annette

I am not laughing, really. Or am I? Feels like yesterday I was right there! Frustrated? Yes! One day you will miss doing his laundry?!?
I'm glad you have this blog to write down this down. I wish I would have had a safe place to vent! You are not alone!
This made me hungry for some apple pie! Hope you all made up!
Love you,
Angie xoxo

I can't do two things at once. My husband was talking to me while I was trying to give my buddy some encouragement. "I'm glad you have this blog to write down this down?" I know I had a thought going. I just can't find it now! You are loved!
