He is so cute, I suppose he can do whatever he wants to do.
That is the truth. He does tend to get away with more. Part of that may be because he's cute but part of it is that bassets are the most willful creatures on the face of the earth. Which is surprising because they are portrayed as slow sleepy critters. (The people that think of them that way have never seen them hunt and kill socks. It's very entertaining. As long as they aren't your socks.)
Knowing dogs, I really doubt it! I think my dog could shred a pack of paper towels in 10 seconds flat.
